Built to handle any saltwater fishing scene, the Thunnus (Latin for ''tuna''), provides exceptional strength and smoothness and added durability with its aluminum body and rotor. The construction design keeps the gears aligned for worry-free, long-lasting performance. The most distinctive feature of the Thunnus is it's patented baitrunner feature that acts as a secondary drag system. This feature allows an angler to feed out line in a tension-controlled free-spool with the bail closed allowing for a more easy setting of the hook and proves to be one of the best systems to fish live bait. Other features of the Thunnus include a waterproof drag system to keep out saltwater and debris; precision cut gears to provide a smooth and powerful retrieve; a one way roller bearing to provide zero handle back-play and a ball bearing line roller coated with titanium for increased smoothness and reduced line twist.
